The pastel-hued haven has 17 spacious and fabulously designed rooms including six luxury suites and nine standard rooms, plus the Medusa Balcony King Room with a stunning pink sunlit deck and The Artist Suite, a lavish two-bedroom apartment.

The fully restored resort offers comfy king-sized Koala mattresses in all rooms, mid-century styling with clean Scandinavian bathrooms, room service by Eddie's Grub House, free high-speed Internet and flat-screen TVs with NETFLIX and a fully stocked SMEG fridge and minibar.

There are loads of special touches true to the vintage feel are a record player in select rooms (and a vinyl library in reception!), custom NEON and artwork in each room, and two pink beach cruisers available for hire.

For the grown-ups, there’s also Santeria - rooftop bar overlooking the ocean, ideal for intimate sundowners, and also The Janitors Closet, a secret piano bar.

The Pink Hotel is one of the Gold Coast's most Instagrammed hotspots, but's it's not just the iconic hotel that’s easy on the eye - rates start from a friendly $134 per night, so you’ll be tickled pink if you book!

It's located at 171 Griffith St, Coolangatta, five minutes' drive from Gold Coast airport. And it looks like Queensland will reopen its borders on July 10... race you there!
