We Can❜t Brie-Lieve It: A Cheese Platter Train Launches In London
- Parents Only
Move over Sushi Train, we have a new moveable feast in town. This one involves two of my favourite things on a plate, cheese and chutney.
Unfortunately for cheese lovers, you'll have to scoot on over to London to experience it.
The 40-metre cheese conveyor belt can be found at Pick & Cheese, part of a new street food market in Covent Garden.
The restaurant features all-British farms and urban producers and each cheese is paired with a different condiment. Think coolea with hazelnut brittle and fresh ricotta with sherry-infused cherries, all whizzing around on a conveyor belt, vying for your attention.
Guests can also choo-choose charcuterie, grilled cheese sandwiches and, of course, pair it all with matching wines. This could be the most British thing since peaches and cream.
Sweet Cheese-Us!
Just when you didn't think it could get any better they also do dessert cheese - because meals should start and end with cheese, right? On the train you can pick from cheese-flavoured soft serve ice cream, using Baron Bigod brie and Beauvale Blue.
Pick & Cheese opened on 7th September inside a former banana storage building. A trip to London has never sounded so gouda!
