We know them (and let the minutes show—we love them) for all of the biscuity goodness they bring into our lives, and now, our appreciation for Aussie-snack giant Arnotts has reached a whole new level.

News that biscuit royalty is coming out with a new line of actual chocolate bars is music to our ears, and the fact that they’ll take the flavours of all of our favourite biscuits is a true bonus.

The New Line-Up

The new line will see Iced VoVo, Scotch Finger, Wagon Wheel, Ginger Nut, and hell, even Jatz make the leap to the confectionary aisle in both bar and block form. We repeat, this is not a drill.

Instead of being chocolate-covered biscuits (which frankly, we’d have swooned over also—we don’t like to discriminate on the biscuit front), the bars and blocks will feature pieces of biscuit scattered throughout the chocolate in all of their various flavour glory.

The Deets

Arnott’s marketing manager, Pauline Mercer, said the following about the brand’s latest and greatest snack offering in a press statement accompanying today’s announcement.

“We’ve selected a range of flavours that we know Aussies are sure to love. We are sure there will be plenty of debate about favourite flavours – especially with those Ginger Nut lovers out there.”

The new line of treaty treatsters will be available from Coles, independent retailers, and other petrol and convenience stores after Easter starting at $5 a block. See you at the shelves!
