One of the most famous markets on the Northern Beaches, the Beaches Market has been welcoming local Beaches artisans as well as traders from Country NSW since 2011 who sell their handmade wares, fresh fruit and veg, organic honey, fine jewellery, artisan breads and more every single Friday.

Formerly known as the Frenchs Forest Organic Markets, Mona Vale Markets is relatively new on the scene after moving from French Forest, but you can still expect the same fresh and delicious goods! From fresh seasonal produce to gourmet indulgences, farm-fresh meats and organic trinkets, Mona Vale Markets are a great place to wander through on a lazy Sunday morning.

3. Avalon Market Day

The Beaches favourite annual market, the Avalon Market Day is definitely a day out with the family to mark on your calendar.

Attracting over 50,000 visitors, Avalon Market Day takes over the whole of Avalon Parade with hundreds of local and visiting traders selling everything from clothes to succulents, organic bath salts, fine jewellery, gourmet foods and more. Plus the live entertainment, music and Famous Dog Show make for a real fun day out.

4. Palm Beach Markets

Head down to picturesque Palm Beach on the 4th Sunday of the month for Palm Beach Markets.

With the rugged Barrenjoey Headland and the historic Lighthouse as the backdrop, the Palm Beach Markets is one of the most picturesque markets on the Northern Beaches. Held on the 4th Sunday of every month, the Palm Beach Markets are the perfect day out to mingle with local artisans, shop for delicious foods and even fit in a walk or swim at the beach for good measure.

5. Berry Reserve Market

Another waterfront market on the Beaches, the Berry Reserve Market is held on the banks of the stunning Narrabeen Lagoon and offers a fantastic range of arts and crafts, plants and flowers, fresh foods, and even some good quality bric-a-brac. Bring the kids along on the 3rd Sunday of the month, grab a coffee and wander the morning away along the waterfront.

6. The Newport Beach Festival

The Northern Beaches longest-running market day, the Newport Beach Festival happens every year towards the end of November and close to Christmas – perfect for unique Christmas gifts! Taking over the whole of Newport shopping strip and the beach promenade, the Newport Beach Festival welcomes hundreds of stalls, gourmet foods, live entertainment, mechanical rides, and even an appearance from Santa Claus.
