1. Timberland Park

Timberland doesn’t so much have a bike track as a fully signed mini road system that kids can ride along on their bikes and scooters while learning the road rules at the same time.

The park also has a playground with a fort, climbing web and bridge, slides, an infant swing, and a regular swing. While the kids are riding you can also use the gym equipment if you’re keen, or sit at one of the sheltered tables and have a quiet coffee. Bliss!

2. Hill End Terrace Playground at Orleigh Park

Hill End Terrace Playground at Orleigh Park, or "the frog park" as it's known to locals for its giant frog tongue slide, is a wonder of two joined playgrounds, with a bike track going around the outside.

The bike track is more for little kids, with winding and undulating sections, so bigger kids might like to cut loose elsewhere. Also, be aware the playground is right next to the river, so if you’ve got a wanderer, you’ll need to keep a close eye. But the park is great for parties and has covered tables, barbecues, and gym equipment.

3. Bray Farm Park

Bray Farm Park is a great spot for nature lovers, with the playground surrounded by native trees – home to some local koalas and kangaroos.

There is an absolutely incredible Harry Potter-inspired playground, with so much on offer to engage kids of all ages. The entire park also has concrete paths weaving in and out all over, which is perfect for your little cyclist.

4. Plantation Place Park

How's this for a cool bike track in Brisbane - one that actually has a miniature petrol pump!

Plantation Park is like a mini wonderland with its pint-sized petrol and train stations, ticket booths, road signs, and parking bays. The fun doesn't stop there – there's also a mini bicycle slalom, scooter/bike ramps, and bumpy corrugations. The rest of the park features a shady playground with a rope bridge and a cool climbing course.

5. Newport Playground

The gorgeous, nautical-themed Newport Playground is great fun for little kids, with slides, a climbing net, and a playboat. There is also a concrete path, perfect for little ones to practise their bike riding, in a giant loop across the grassed area. Race you there!

6. Mulbeam Park

Mulbeam Park has two great playgrounds, one with a transport theme for your little revheads, and the other a more traditional playground. There are also plenty of shelters, barbecues, and public toilets. Then all around the park is a massive network of concrete paths, perfect for bikes and scooters. This is a great place to settle in for a couple of hours – the kids will be exhausted.

7. Raby Bay Esplanade Park

Raby Bay Esplanade Park is a thrill-seeker's paradise with its 200m-long bike, scooter, and riding circuit. 

This awesome adventure zone is packed with jumps, traffic signs, road markings, turning lanes, roundabouts, ditch rides, rest stops, speed humps, and so much more. The park also features an epic playground, a splash-tastic water play area, and clean toilets. It's the ultimate spot for family fun and adventure!

8. Arthur Davis Park

Arthur Davis Park at Sandgate is one of the best bike tracks in Brisbane for kids young and old, with a fantastic playground overlooking the foreshore.

For the adventurers, there are beautiful well-established trees to climb and a concrete path to access the playground, which leads onto the foreshore path where you can scooter or ride for kilometres. We love this park for its proximity to Sandgate Fish and Chips!

9. Crestmead Park

Crestmead Park is a kid's dream come true! Imagine a shady wonderland perfect for little ones mastering the art of bike riding. The best part? They get to navigate using real traffic signs – no tiny replicas here!

But that’s not all. Crestmead Park also boasts a super popular skate bowl, convenient toilets, and an awesome playground complete with swings. It's the ultimate spot for fun and adventure!

10. Grand Park
