All us water babies can rejoice – plans for Macarthur’s largest water park have been approved!

The $9 million dollar project – which was approved by the Camden local planning panel  – is set to transform the Oran Park landscape in the coming months when it takes up residence on the Ron’s Creek riparian corridor alongside The Northern Road and Central Avenue.

Ultimate fun in the sun is the goal of Macarthur’s newest water park, which will include a range of water and non-water activities such as water slides, water spinners, swings, trampolines, basketball facilities, picnic areas and more.

But Wait, There's More!

The Julia Reserve Youth Precinct as it will be known, will also be home to Camden’s only Ninja Warrior course and Parkour facilities!

The park also features play equipment for both younger children as well as youth, a half basketball court, dynamic exercise equipment, amenities block and parking. Plus a brand new skate park!

Camden Council will hold a fun day at the new park on Peter Brock Drive from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, March 7 to celebrate the opening with a free bbq, slushies, skate lessons and more. (Although please note the water park won't be open until April.)

The whole park will be officially opened on Wednesday 15 April at Council’s much-loved Bounce Town event.

We’re chomping at the bit to check out those water spinners!
