Perth Zoo Playground
Promising to engage kids of all ages, this all-abilities playground offers a unique, immersive experience in one of Australia's most iconic zoos.

Designed to be inclusive of all abilities, the playground is expected to be completed by spring this year. The cutting-edge design is by landscape architect Hassell and Crothers Construction celebrates Perth Zoo's animals and conservation work and has let that inspire the design of this brand-new playspace.

Featuring a "cloud deck", climbable giant Numbat, rope tunnels, swinging ropes, feather hammocks, slides, audio spotlights, and more, the playground offers a unique and exciting play experience for every age and stage.

The "cloud deck" is the centrepiece of the playground and provides an elevated experience using bridges, tunnels, and ropes, while a mister system even simulates a cloud with model cockatoos flying overhead!
