New Waterslides At Aquatopia Are Making A Splash

  • Family

Did your Australia Day involve sampling Sydney’s tallest high-speed water slide tower? No? Well, Fairfield mayor, Frank Carbone's did, as community favourite Aquatopia unveiled their latest offering; encouraging more families to enjoy some adrenaline-fuelled fun whilst staying cool this summer.

Aquatopia's 20-metre tall slide tower features a three-lane racing ride, a high-speed free-fall slide and the rocket drop slide which drops riders via a trap door to a fast loop through a transparent tube—which let’s face it—are probably as heart-racing as they sound.

Opened in 2016, Aquatopia caters to the whole family, with 10-metre high giant slides, an Adventure Aqua Tower boasting 79 incredible elements to have fun with plus an interactive babies’ pool. It’s the affordability of a day at Aquatopia which is a huge drawcard for families, with tickets starting from just $15 per person for Fairfield local residents.

Speaking to the Fairfield Champion, mayor Carbone said “we want Aquatopia to be fun for the whole family, and these new slides definitely offer a fun time for the older kids, adults and thrill seekers in the family.

“The racing slides add a competitive element to the fun and are perfect for friends and family who like to challenge each other.

“The free-fall slide and rocket drop are definitely not for the faint of heart.”

Well, we can’t wait to give them a try! See you there, if you dare!
