New Bluey Magazine For Kids Out Now
At a time when the magazine industry is in crisis, and titles are being pulled from circulation, one loveable, little pooch has managed to defy the odds and get his own publication. Power to the puppy!
Bluey is the most downloaded show in ABC iView history, and it’s testimony to his popularity among the pre-school set, and the buying power of parents with these little ones in tow, that the Bluey magazine, published by Bauer Media, has made it to print, and will hit stands every month.
Based on the beloved Blue Heeler from the popular, award-winning Australian kids TV show, Bluey magazine is aimed at three to six-year-olds and will include content from the series as well as creative activities that encourage play and imagination. Each edition will also have a fun sticker sheet!
The magazine is the latest in a string of Bluey merchandise including clothing, books and even birth certificates - and fans can't get enough.
“It seemed natural for Bluey magazine to start in Australia to give little readers what they’ve been waiting for. We’re really encouraged to see that the magazine is off to a flying start,” says Bauer publisher Sally Eagle. “The first issue went on sale in mid-May and we are already seeing impressive sales results as families and fans of the show are taking the opportunity to connect and create through the interactive nature of the magazine.”
Look out for the monthly Bluey magazine at Woolworths, Coles, Kmart and newsagents. It costs $5.99 or you can subscribe and have it delivered for $7.99 by clicking here.
