Data obtained by aviation analytics firm Cirium has revealed the world's most reliable airlines. Given all the airport chaos we're constantly seeing on the news, I'm surprised any airlines made the list, no offence.

Nevertheless, several airlines from across the globe have made the cut of the top 10 most on-time airlines in the world. Plus, Cirium have revealed which airports are the most reliable at getting their passengers off the ground in a timely manner.

Without further ado, let's look at the top 10 most reliable airlines in the world. There's never been a better time to let your punctuality freak flag fly! 

The Most Reliable Airlines & Airports in the World

Since waving bon voyage to travel bans in our now 'post-covid' world, you'd think we'd seen the last of all this travel turbulence. It's trying times for airlines in 2023, when almost every day, we hear about flights being delayed, aeroplanes turning around mid-flight, and passengers being left behind at airports. Have airlines been out of the game for so long that they've forgotten how to do it? 

It seems some airlines still know how to get their passengers from A to B, as new data by aviation analytics firm Cirium has revealed the top 10 most reliable airlines in the world.

The Cirium On-Time Performance Review is the global gold standard for airline and airport performance. It defines an on-time, reliable airline as one with flights arriving within 15 minutes of the scheduled gate arrival. And as for the world's most reliable airports, Cirium deems an airport reliable when its flights depart within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time.

While Qantas is continually ranked the top airline in Australia, the Spirit of Australia didn't make the cut of the most reliable airlines in the world. So, which airlines did?
