McDonaldâs Releases a New Birthday McFlurry
- Family
There’s a light at the end of the black tunnel known as lockdown and winter school holidays and that’s arrived in the form of a McDonalds ice cream.
However, it’s not any McDonalds ice cream. The global fast-food power-players have just announced the release of the Birthday McFlurry.
And best of all, it’s exclusive to Australia.
The Birthday McFlurry features bite-sized pieces of custard pie, mixed in with creamy soft serve, topped with caramel sauce and birthday sprinkles. Essentially, it’s a fairy bread icecream but better.
And it’s arrival is to mark 50 years since McDonalds first opened in Australia.
The dessert will be available exclusively via Uber Eats from Wednesday June 30 for one week before landing in all McDonalds restaurants nationwide from July 7.
Note, it’s only available for a limited time so get in.
“Our new McFlurry flavour was inspired by iconic Aussie birthday party favourites to create a nostalgic and delicious dessert that will put everyone in the birthday spirit,” Amanda Nakad, McDonald's Australia marketing manager, said.
'New McFlurry flavours are always a hit with our customers, so we thought this would be a delicious way to continue our 50-year celebrations.”
