Picturesque Family-Friendly Escape

Jamberoo Valley Farm is one of the newer luxury farm stays to hit the family holiday circuit, and we’re sure glad it did! Opened at the beginning of 2019, Jamberoo Valley Farm is nestled in the flourishing grasslands of the NSW South Coast just 2 hours south of Sydney. For those who have visited the South Coast, you’ll agree that this area is simply breathtaking and a fantastic getaway for Sydney families. With the ocean to one side, rolling green hills and rainforests to the other, and quaint villages and historic sites dotted in between, the South Coast truly is one of NSW’s unspoilt gems.

Jamberoo Valley Farm

The Jamberoo Valley farm stay is set on 65 acres of lush farmland and takes Scandinavian style to a whole new glamorous level. The 2-bedroom Scandinavian cottage was designed by owner and interior designer, Evette Moran Interiors and Styled By Love and features a wraparound deck, rustic Scandi-style interiors, a rainfall shower, working fireplace, and even an outdoor hot tub. While the premise of creating Jamberoo Valley Farm was for families to disconnect and replenish in nature, creature comforts are not far away thanks to a TV and Netflix.

Owner Evette Moran says, “We wanted to create a beautiful farm-stay experience where people could truly disconnect to reconnect and experience what is a truly magical and energising property – from sitting back with a good book on the terrace to sipping wine by the fireplace or taking a romantic stroll through the grounds. It’s our favourite pocket of the world and we’re proud to be able to now share it with our guests”.

The lush gardens that surround the cottage are equally as impressive as the interiors and designed by award-winning landscape designer Charlie Albone from Inspired Exteriors and Selling Houses Australia. The farm itself is still a working organic farm, so the kids will love going for an adventure through the vegie patches.

If you can bear to tear yourself away from the utter tranquillity at Jamberoo Valley Farm, you’ll discover loads of family attractions in nearby towns such as Jamberoo (home of Jamberoo Action Park), Kiama (don’t miss the famous Kiama Blowhole), Minnamurra and the Minnamurra Rainforest, and Gerringong.
