Where to go for High Tea in the Blue Mountains
1. Hydro Majestic High Tea

The beautiful Hydro Majestic Hotel in Medlow Bath is one of Australia's most iconic historical hotels, and they serve one of the most popular Blue Mountains high tea. Thanks to an air of understated elegance, jaw-dropping panoramic views that drink in the stunning Megalong Valley vista and plush, charming furnishings, there really is no better spot for a memorable Blue Mountains high tea.
Served on a three-tiered silver stand in the stunning Wintergarden Restaurant, a Hydro Majestic high tea comes with a selection of finger sandwiches, petit pastries, freshly baked scones with all the trimmings and a whole lot more. Speciality teas and coffees are unlimited, and there's also the option to upgrade to a glass of something sparkling.

2. Lillanfels High Tea

Quintessentially British and 100% delicious, high tea at the ever-popular Lillanfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa in Katoomba is the perfect treat for all ages. The Victorian decor, gorgeous fireplaces and beautiful courtyard views create the perfect setting from which to enjoy a delicious range of high tea delicacies. The children's option includes a selection of sandwiches, pikelets, fairy bread and treats, all washed down with hot chocolate, juice or tea. For the adults, there's the chance to upgrade from tea and coffee to accompany your feast, to a glass of sparkling wine or a flute of French champagne. Cheers!

3. Fairmont Resort & Spa High Tea

It's no secret that Fairmont Resort & Spa is something of an ellaslist favourite and their delectable high tea options put the cherry on top in our eyes. Their indulgent offering is one of the best Blue Mountains high teas you can get; served with decadent sandwiches, sweet treats and homemade scones. The kids' high tea includes a selection of finger sandwiches, mini pancakes, pastries and sweets, with resort icon Dani the Duck.

4. Bygone Beauty's High Tea

High teas don't come much more traditional than those served at Bygone Beauty's Treasure Teapot. A stalwart of the Blue Mountains high tea scene, the range of delicious treats is served by a top-hatted waiter in tails, with all the grace of silver service. Guests will enjoy finely rolled crustless sandwiches, an assortment of homemade tea cakes and biscuits, topped off with homemade baby scones with freshly whipped cream and strawberry jam and accompanied by your choice of house tea or coffee. For a 'supreme' experience, the Traditional High Tea Supreme comes with bubbly in crystal flutes upon arrival with mini quiches, sausage rolls and vegetarian roulades, in addition to the above. Yum!
Oh, and FYI, Bygone Beauty's offer a BYO champagne option for just $3.30 corkage per person—which makes for an ultra-decadent experience!

5. The Gingerbread House High Tea

The Gingerbread House is a Blue Mountains high tea icon and unsurprisingly, an absolute favourite among kids. At their high tea, you can enjoy an assortment of petit and open style sandwiches, freshly baked scones with house-made jam and cream, Belgian chocolate brownies, fresh strawberries and of course, plenty of house-baked gingerbread—all served with speciality coffee, fine tea or our decadent hot chocolate.
