Attempted Abduction In Summer Hill - The Fourth This Week

NSW police are asking for any information on the whereabouts of a man who attempted to abduct an 11 year old girl from a playground in Sydney's inner west yesterday. This is the fourth reported abduction attempt this week in Sydney.

The post on the NSW Police Facebook page details the girl's harrowing escape and appeals to the public for help:

This latest incident is however not believed to be linked to any other attemteped abductions.

The spate of attacks have triggered a warning from police, urging parents to discuss the ‘Safe People, Safe Places’ messages with their children.
