A Giant Adventure Playground Is Opening This Weekend
If you live in South-West Sydney and have littlies that are bursting with rambunctious energy, consider this your lucky day.
Casula Parklands is now home to the region’s most impressive adventure playground yet! Spanning a 15-hectare site of an old golf course the impressive new park has picnic facilities, a sculpture walk, accessible play area, off-leash dog park and parking.
As for the play facilities themselves, they are second to none. We’re talking a flyingfox, 8-metre tall skywalk, a tunnel slide and a Ninja Training Circuit.
The $4million dollar project is committed to making the banks of the Georges River more accessible for residents with more playgrounds and walkways along the foreshore. Not only is the park great news for the residents of Casula, it’s also going to attract people from other areas to spend the day in Liverpool with the whole family.
Get ready for some serious playtime, folks!
To commemorate the opening, Liverpool Council will be throwing a little shindig with live music, face painting, games and crafts for the kids.
Where: Casula Parklands, Powerhouse Road, Casula
When: Saturday 4 May, 10 am-2 pm
