- Parents Only
If there's one thing we've heard a lot about during COVID, it's vouchers! Creative Kids Vouchers, Active Kids Vouchers, Dine & Discover Vouchers, Stay & Rediscover Vouchers, First Lap Learn to Swim Vouchers, and now, Before and After School Vouchers are happening.
NSW Premier, Dominic Perrottet has announced that parents of all primary-aged students in NSW will receive a $500 Voucher for every primary-aged child to support NSW families as kids head back to school and parents return to work.

Before and After School Vouchers for NSW Parents
NSW has found $155-million-dollars in the budget to support families supporting the economy. The $500 voucher will be available for each primary-school-aged child to attend Before- and After-School Care (BASC) to ease parents' pressure to return to the workforce. The $500 voucher will assist families who use BASC services by covering the parent gap fee component of their session fees.
Perrottet hopes the program will help mums and dads find a healthy work-life balance. "It also will provide important support for the industry", he added, saying "Schools and childcare centres have - like many industries - been under immense pressure in the past few years."
"These vouchers for before and after school care will help alleviate some of the financial pressures on NSW families and provide greater flexibility and more options for those who need to work", says Perrottet.
The $500 Before and After School Vouchers are said to be available from 28 February 2022.

Parents and carers will be able to apply for the $500 vouchers through Service NSW from 28 February 2022. All parents and carers will be able to apply for one voucher per primary-school-aged child that is in their care.
Customer Services Minister, Victor Dominello said the vouchers would be delivered to phones via the same infrastructure as the Dine and Discover vouchers, with providers able to quickly scan the QR code on the spot or use the unique voucher code to redeem.
Bring on 28 February!
