With all the cleaning, nappies and work! work! work!, mum’s nights outs are a highly anticipated (and extremely rare) social event. You deserve to let your hair down, so why not try one of these cool ideas or fun venues, from luxurious long lunches to wild nights of dancing. We have a feeling it could turn out something like this.

1. Casual Wine Tasting, The Winery

On Wednesday evenings, drop on by the Winery in Surry Hills for an exploration of different wines each week- no bookings required! If TGIF is more your thing, swing by for “Carafternoon” from 3pm on Fridays, where carafes are just $22, sure to satisfy your whole gaggle of girlfriends.

2. A Day At The Races, Randwick & Rosehill

The changing colour of leaves means Autumn Carnival is upon us! Always a giggly day out. It’s the perfect excuse to wear the dress you bought for an occasion that never came, and to sip on champagne early in the day. Place some fun bets, or get a table outside in the sun with all the girls- this one never disappoints, and you can be home early if need be. There are many ladies’ days happening trackside, so check with the Australian Turf Club before booking your day.

3. Guerrilla Eats Dining Experiences

Give Guerrilla Eats control to take you on a traipse throughout Darlinghurst, Crows Nest, Redfern, The Rocks or Surry Hills to three of the best bars and foodie spots, selected by people who know those areas well. 4. Girl’s Night Out, Marquee

Don’t be fooled, Marquee’s Girls Night Out Packages aren’t just for Hens nights and birthday parties for 21 year olds. Do your mum’s night out in style with free and express VIP entry, a private table or small section, and greeting and help from a host. If you’re in the mood to get all dressed up and have a wild night of dancing and champagne, then check out their available packages.

5. Try A Themed Restaurant

Sydney has 2 awesome themed dinner experiences: Dirty Dick’s Medieval style dining that tours regional NSW, and Fright Night creepy-themed dining at Yagoona. Fright Night has creepy characters to greet you, cheeky entertainment, comedic performances and scrumptious themed food. You can dress up and have a truly unique experience rather than just your standard dinner and drinks routine. For a suave bar that is sure to transport you back in time, head to Palmer & Co (pictured) and find yourself in the Gatsby-era 1920s. 6. Ladies Days, Various Locations

Ladies Days are known to spill into Ladies nights. Always be sure to check your local race track and football clubs for any ladies days they might be having- Mosman Rugby is celebrating their ladies day on Saturday 6 May 2017, which will benefit the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation. Ticket includes a gourmet lunch, complimentary drinks, live music and entry to an exclusive after party…oh, and a game of footy too, of course. Norths Rugby is hosting their Ladies Day on Saturday 21 May 2017, which includes live music, and a fashions on the field contest! There wil also be a champagne and cider bar to keep you giggling.

7. Ladies Night, Blackbird Cafe

Blackbird Cafe on Cockle Bay Wharf hosts a Ladies Night on Thursday night that will make sure you definitely won’t bee feeling good for school drop-offs on Friday morning. They offer a $20 sangria jug special, $5 glasses of bubbly all night, $8 drink specials, and a 3-course banquet for just $40 per head! Top Tip: wear pink to get a free shot on arrival. Woo!
