Discover the thrill of riding a 52-degree incline straight through a cliff tunnel into the ancient rainforest on the steepest passenger railway in the world, the Scenic Railway.

Glide between cliff tops on the Scenic Skyway, suspended 270 metres in the air above the Jamison Valley, look through the glass floor to the rainforest canopy below if you dare!  

Discover panoramic views of the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains from Australia’s largest and steepest cable car, the Scenic Cableway. Take in epic views of Mount Solitary, Katoomba Falls, Orphan Rock, and of course, the Three Sisters.

Enjoy the tranquillity of ancient rainforest – or simply tire the kids out – strolling along the 2.4 kilometres of Scenic Walkway.

Scenic World is located at Violet Street & Cliff Drive, Katoomba. It's open from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm daily.

Cost

Tickets start from $36.60 per child and $61 per adult, with kids under 3 going FREE. 

Getting There

Scenic World is situated approximately 100 kilometres from Sydney, and only 3 kilometres from Katoomba’s village centre and railway station. Whether you're travelling by train or by car, it'll take roughly 90 minutes.
