When the farm opens in the summertime, you will be able to fulfill your heart’s desire to dance in the sea of purple blooms on their Lavender Field Walk and participate in activities for the whole family. Visitors can also engage in an exciting and educational hands-on exploration of the fascinating world of honeybees in the Beekeeping for Beginners workshop that will be held at the farm’s apiary.

If you have a sweet tooth, you will have the opportunity to harvest your very own raw honey right from the source by booking the Honey Harvest Experience, thanks to the innovative Australian-designed Flow Hives they have on-site. Learn about the unique process of 'tapping' and gain a newfound appreciation for these incredible creatures and their sweet contributions! For those with a flair for the arts, you can play with colours and textures and get those creative juices flowing by taking part in either the Fine Arts in Little Provence or the Dried Lavender and Flower Arrangement workshop. Not only will you have a fun time, but you will also get to bring home your very own masterpiece.

Hunter Lavender Farm Seasonal Opening Hours

Hunter Lavender Farm will be open daily from 9 December 2023 to 7 January 2024* (Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year's Day).

*Dates may be extended until flowers are ready to harvest.

Getting There 

Just a scenic two-hour drive from Sydney via Tourist Drive 33 or an hour from Newcastle Airport, Hunter Lavender Farm is located at 125 Adams Peak Road, Broke.

Cost 

The Lavender Field Walk is priced at $15 per adult, $8 per child (6 - 12 years), and free for kids 5 and under.
