Area 51 Castle Hill is the Biggest Indoor Playground in Sydney!

Sydney's Hills District is about to get wild: a mega Area 51 indoor playground is touching down in Castle Hill this January! Get ready for the kind of after-school energy burn that actually works.

A Giant Area 51 Playground is Touching Down in Castle Hill This Summer

Area 51 Castle Hill
Say hello to the largest indoor playground in Sydney!

Area 51, the largest indoor playground in Australia, first opened in Underwood, Queensland, and is now expanding to Sydney. After spawning multiple locations across South East Queensland — from Helensvale and Mt Gravatt to Redcliffe — and proving that kids are basically renewable energy sources in need of dedicated terrain, the crew behind Area 51 decided it was time to take the party interstate. And now, drumroll please, Sydney's Castle Hill is next up on the expansion list with a mega new outpost set to open its doors, bringing all that Brisbane-born playtime chaos down the M1.

Welcome to the Ultimate Kids' Play Galaxy

Area 51 Sydney
Kids can jump for hours on the indoor trampolines.

Area 51 Castle Hill isn't your average soft-play corner with a couple of plastic balls and a faded slide. First up, Area 51 is massive — we're talking around 4,000sqm of full-on indoor adventure designed for explorers aged 12 and under.

So, what can we expect from Sydney's largest indoor playground? Here's a sneak peek at the kinds of mayhem your little legends can launch into:

  • Multi-level soft play and climbing structures
  • Trampoline zones with dodgeball action
  • A 250sqm Snow World where actual flurries fall (yes, real snow — no mountain drive required)
  • VR arenas for cosmic gaming thrills
  • Dedicated toddler zones (so babies and big kids both get their jam)
  • On-site café to refuel the parents with actual coffee while the kiddos plot their next gravity-defying move.
