Kogarah’s streets are set to burst with colour, creativity and community spirit as the Uncontained Arts Festival returns for its fifth big year!
From Friday 27 to Sunday 29 June, Belgrave Street will transform into a vibrant open-air gallery packed with immersive installations, interactive artworks, live music and flavour-packed food.
With past festivals drawing crowds of over 25,000, this free and family-friendly celebration is fast becoming one of South Sydney’s favourite winter events.
Uncontained Arts Festival

Expect bold experiences like silent discos, live mural painting, neon-lit life drawing and even an LED tunnel.
This year’s program includes standout installations such as ANINA — a zen-inspired sound-responsive cat by artists Samuel Kim and Lawrence Liang — and Anastasia Parmson’s I Drew a Line and Called it Home, a walk-through world of 3D black-and-white drawings.

Festivalgoers can also get hands-on with UV drawing workshops, soak up tunes and fuel up with eats like doughnut fries from Drippin Desserts or Mediterranean street food from Teta’s Pitas.

Creative, quirky and full of energy — Uncontained Arts Festival 2025 is one not to miss!
