Treat the family to an action-packed day at Hunter Valley Gardens Amaze & Play.


Enjoy a fun day out full of adventurous activities at Amaze and Play at the Hunter Valley Gardens!

Explore their giant maze, jump, scramble, and climb your way through a thrilling inflatable obstacle course and the Storybook Garden will be transformed into a fairy & gnome wonderland. Plus, enjoy the amazing amusement rides.

Jungle Adventure Maze

The whole family will love exploring the giant jungle maze searching for lost creatures. With over 400m of twisted pathways including deadends to challenge your sense of direction.

Explore their giant maze, jump, scramble, and climb your way through a thrilling inflatable obstacle course.

Inflatable Obstacle Course

Jump, slide, crawl, balance and scramble your way through a series of fun challenges! All users of the inflatable obstacle course must be 105cm and above. 

Junior Jumping Castle

There is also a junior jumping castle for the smaller guests who are under 105cm and 6 years of age.

Bubble Zone

Who doesn't love bubbes? The kids will love the roaming entertainer with an amazing bubble performance.

Story Book Garden

The Storybook Garden is a delight for all ages, featuring timeless nursery rhyme characters taking visitors on a journey through childhood dreams, memories, and fantasies. Plus, they will have special miniature Fairy and Gnome displays during the Amaze & Play in the Garden event.

Storybook Garden will be transformed into a fairy & gnome wonderland.

Spring Installations

Enjoy some special Spring installations from the Horticulture team, including quirky flower displays, colourful birdhouses, hanging baskets and more.

Amazing rides!

  • Twisty, twirly fun! Join the tea party on the fantastic Tea Cup ride. Twist, twirl and have fun in giant coloured tea cups.
  • Get your adrenalin pumping as you fly 11 metres above the ground. The flying Swing Chair adds a classic carnival feel to the Gardens. Feel the wind in your hair and get your adrenalin pumping as you fly 11 metres above the ground.
  • Enjoy the Beautiful traditional Venetian Carousel. Experience a beautiful traditional Venetian Carousel, a firm favourite, this feature was made in Italy to our design.
  • Enjoy the views of surrounding Gardens from 25 metres up. See the Gardens from 25 metres up in our spectacular Ferris Wheel. The view from the top across the wineries, Gardens and mountain ranges has to be seen to be believed!
  • Grab a mat and slide away. This slide is a massive 35 metres long, 12 metres high and a whole lot of fun!

Rides are $5 per ride or you can purchase a bonus 6 token pass for $25, tokens can be purchased at the rides booth. Height and age restrictions apply.
