The Ocean Lovers Festival 2020

To our beautiful Ocean Lovers community, it is with the utmost regret that we inform you that we have had to cancel the 2020 Ocean Lovers Festival. The increasing severity of the current situation has come as a huge shock to us all and we recognise our responsibility to protect the health and safety of our community.

The Ocean Lovers Festival is an annual celebration of ideas (art + music and actions) showcasing some of the latest innovations, science, state-of-the-art technology and cool ideas for helping the oceans.

Staged at Sydney's iconic Bondi Beach, this years’ Ocean Lovers Festival provides 6-days of free entertainment and events. 

Want to get really deep? Dive into the famous Bondi Icebergs pool and swim through an underwater Crayweed forest and VOLVO Living Seawall display (from Friday 20 March – Sunday 22 March)! Sea Science is an installation by the Sydney Institute of Marine Science showcases current research projects focused on restoring the ecology of Sydney’s coastline and harbour.

Also throughout the festival there will be yoga, beach clean-ups, paddle outs, art, films, music, food, talks, stalls, workshops and more.
