One of the Northern Beaches most iconic seaside establishments is back, rising from it’s post-lockdown ashes to reveal a stunning transformation designed with the local community at its heart.

With nearly a century behind it, Harbord Hotel has been long established as one of Sydney’s greatest pubs. With new owners at the helm, it continues to celebrate the youthful spirit and surf culture of its Freshwater locality with an action-packed first summer of free entertainment, focusing on live music from local talent.

Harbord Hotel Courtyard
Straight from the seaside to the newly expanded sun-soaked terrace

Adorned with a mural by local Northern Beaches artist Ash Holmes, beachgoers can stroll up straight to the venue from the sea and head onto the expansive sun-soaked terrace to refresh and relax - with their surfboards safely stowed in the rack out front! The terrace has been expanded to include a stunning outdoor bar, with more space to hangout and appreciate the surfing nostalgia and vintage memorabilia on display.

Harbord Hotel Bar
Lush new interiors and cool surfing memorabilia create the perfect chilled-out space

The all-important menu at the beachside haven is dubbed as ‘classic pub fare with a coastal twist’ and there is a coffee cart and breakfast menu for the early birds!

A new restaurant and cocktail bar, Balsa, is set to open soon and you can also expect boutique accommodation and a café as the venue’s refurbishment continues.
