Taronga Zoo Launches Outdoor Photo Exhibition: QBE Muse @ Taronga
- Wed Nov 01 - Thu Nov 30 2017
Experience Taronga Zoo as it shifts into a space of contemporary art through a wild lens, and see their birds like never before this November.
With Taronga Zoo as the canvas, QBE and Taronga are proud to come together to create history with the launch of its outdoor photo exhibition with the launch of QBE MUSE @ Taronga.
As part of the celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary of the QBE Free Flight Bird Show, QBE MUSE @ Taronga is a stunning photographic exhibition by photographic artist Leila Jeffreys. Leila Jeffreys is a passionate advocate for Australian Wildlife and she invites us to consider our relationship with birds by capturing them with impeccable timing, patience, artistry and technique through her mastery of the camera.
These images take guests on a journey around Taronga Zoo, both literally and visually. The photographs are exhibited throughout Taronga, inviting guests to follow them along the path, or explore the whole Zoo and find the photos along the way. Some of the birds photographed are residents of Taronga Zoo and can be seen off the canvas as stars of the QBE Free Flight Bird Show.
