One of North Shore’s most popular events, the Sydney Taiwan Festival is back again this September!
As part of the celebrated Emerge Festival, the 6th Sydney Taiwan Festival offers an exciting two-day program for Sydneysiders.
Sydneysiders can enjoy plenty of exciting performances from diverse groups of artists and performers from Taiwan, including martial arts, traditional and modern dances, musical performances, and puppet shows. Local performance groups will also join the festivities. Traditional arts and crafts stalls and games suitable for families will provide a flavor of Taiwan’s famous night market culture. We invite Sydneysiders to try authentic Taiwanese cuisine including the nation’s various mouth-watering snacks. In 2017, we are especially excited to invite a Taiwanese tea master to Sydney to showcase Taiwanese tea culture, with plenty of opportunities to try Taiwan’s world famous Alpine Oolong Tea.
