Explore the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney after dark on a Sunset Spotlight Tour. Families can discover nocturnal wildlife, use real scientific gadgets and experience the Garden in a whole new light.

When the sun sets, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney transforms into a lively nighttime habitat. Armed with torches and guided by expert educators, explore hidden corners of the Garden while searching for fascinating residents. This torchlight adventure might reveal Golden Orb spiders, Brush-tailed Possums, Microbats, Flying Foxes and even the elusive Tawny Frogmouth!

Wander along garden pathways and visit biodiversity hotspots such as ponds and leafy hideaways where nocturnal creatures begin their nightly routines. It’s a chance to experience the Garden in a completely different way.

Young explorers will get a glimpse into the world of science as guides introduce gadgets used by researchers to locate animals and plants with special nocturnal adaptations. It is a fascinating way for kids to learn how scientists study the natural world.
