The weather is warming up so it's the perfect time to be out and about in the fresh air, learning and exploring at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney this Summer school holidays.

Dreaming of a Green Christmas:  Join Elfis and Elvin the Christmas Elves for a hilarious theatre event in the Garden. These fun-loving but mischievous elves have been banished from Santa's workshop and sent to Australia! Join them on their adventures as they look for a perfect green Christmas.

Leafy Christmas Craft: Kids will have lots of creative fun exploring the Garden and then using plant materials to make festive decorations to take home. They'll make beautifully scented bees-wax candles, make a Christmas tree ornament out of clay, and use Australian native plants to get crafty!

Garden Grubs: Kids have lots of creative and active fun in the Garden with the professional, enthusiastic educators! This all-day school holiday program is full of fun and adventures in the Garden. Your child can explore the Garden all day with nature play, stories, art and craft to take home, fun games and gardening activities. There are different themes each day, and the children also have the chance to find out about botany, scientific illustration, horticulture, wildlife and more with guest experts!

FREE Jurassic Garden Augmented Reality: Journey back through time and witness Australian Dinosaurs and megafauna next to plants that were important to them at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.

Bush Tucker Pizza: Led by Aboriginal Educators, kids will explore the Cadi Garden to find out about plants used by Aboriginal people for food and shelter. Then they'll make their own delicious Bush Tucker Pizza using native ingredients to add flavour.

Prehistoric Story Safari: Everyone will be part of the action - playing the heroes, making the sound effects, using their imaginations to enter a world where giant beasts roam and adventures are HUGE!

Dino Stomp: Stomp around the Garden on safari to find the megafauna and dinosaurs hiding amongst Jurassic plants. Create a fossil of ancient animals and plants and make a delicious chocolate Wollemi snack.

Bees Knees: Children will love making bees-wax candles, tasting honey made in the Royal Botanic Garden and planting a bee-attracting plant to take home.

Botanic Beats - Garden Disco:  Children will have a ball learning some funky dance moves, then enjoy a day-time disco complete with fun dance games!

Plan Bee - Create a Happy Insect Hotel:  In this workshop kids will find out about the Garden's native bees and make a bee hotel to take home.

Pizza Plants:  Let your kids take their tastebuds on a delicious adventure in the Garden!  Activities include: a treasure hunt to find pizza ingredients growing in the Garden, planting yummy Mediterranean herbs to take home and making a munchalicious mini-pizza to eat....YUM!
