State Library Diary Files

The State Library's Diary Files collects vignettes from the everyday lives of the people of NSW and beyond. Members of the public are invited to write a diary entry, of up to 300 words, on whatever subject they like.

You can write about what you see, what you feel,  your morning coffee, what you wish you said to her but never did. You don't need to be a writer and can write 20 words or write 300, submit anonymously or use your name

The Diary Files is proudly supported by ABC Radio Sydney. They’ll be featuring some of the entries as part of their project This Moment in Time.

All entries will be moderated and published on the State Library website.
