Since its inception in 2015, Speaking Schools Australasia (SSA) has helped over 15,000 students hone their speaking skills and build their confidence. SSA takes pride in creating a welcoming environment, emphasising small class sizes, and providing personalised feedback from expert coaches. Our mission is to help every student bring their words to life through engaging holiday workshops in debating and public speaking, tailored to school students from Kindy to Year 9.
SSA firmly believe in 'learning by doing'. Hence, each class is kept small, ensuring multiple speaking opportunities for every student in a nurturing environment.
Individualised feedback is provided by the experienced and passionate coaches.

Speaking Skills Bumblebees
Kindy, Mixed Experience

Presentation Skills Tabby Cats
Years 1 & 2, Beginner Students
The perfect holiday workshop for early primary students just starting out at school and looking to find their feet. A fun introduction to speaking in front of a group. For more info, click HERE.
Presentation Skills Tigers
Years 1 & 2, Experienced Students
The Tigers workshop provides interactive and fun activities to both deepen students' understanding of how to best present in front of a class and to further develop their confidence in speaking to audiences.The focus in this course will be Expressing Yourself. For more info, click HERE.
Speaking Camp Koalas
Years 3 & 4, Beginner Students
The Koalas program is an interactive, activity-based workshop that introduces beginner-level mid-primary students to the exciting world of public speaking and debating. Speaking Camp Kangaroos
Years 3 & 4, Experienced Students
This workshop for experienced speakers enables students to apply their speaking skills in a variety of novel situations, developing their confidence, critical thinking and resilience even further. The focus in this course will be on Expressing Yourself. For more info, click HERE.
Public Speaking Honeyeaters
Years 5 & 6, Beginner Students

Public Speaking Herons
Years 5 & 6, Experienced Students
This workshop, which changes every holiday, helps students develop different specific skills relating to public speaking. The focus in this course will be on Textual Analysis. For more info, click HERE.
Debating Hummingbirds
Years 5 & 6, Beginner Students
The Debating Hummingbirds program is an introductory workshop for students who want to see what 'policy' debates are all about and provides a foundation upon which to build. For more info, click HERE.
Debating Hawks
Years 5 & 6, Experienced Students
This is a workshop for students with some debating experience that allows them to consolidate their knowledge, practice their debating skills and gain exposure to interesting and pertinent topics. For more info, click HERE.
Foundations of Public Speaking
Years 7 – 9, Beginner Students
The Foundations of Public Speaking program helps students develop the skills they need to be successful in high school and beyond. They will learn how to organise and deliver effective speeches, manage their nerves, and connect with their audiences. For more info, click HERE.
Experienced Public Speaking
Years 7 – 9, Experienced Students
The Experienced Public Speaking workshop helps students develop specific public speaking skills through a variety of interactive activities. The focus in this course will be on Textual Analysis. For more info, click HERE.
Foundations of Debating
Years 7 – 9, Beginner Students
This program seeks to equip students with all the fundamental skills necessary to flourish in high school debating, including how to develop arguments, deliver persuasive speeches, and rebutt opposing arguments. For more info, click HERE.
Experienced Debating
Years 7 – 9, Experienced Students
A fun and interactive workshop that combines multiple practice debates and a range of theoretical sessions to help high school students further flourish as debaters. For more info, click HERE.
