Sleep Under the Stars: Sydney’s Community Camp-Out for a Cause

Sleep Under the Stars is back this October, inviting Sydneysiders to swap their beds for sleeping bags and spend a night under the glittering city sky – all for an incredible cause.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Sydney Harbour at Barangaroo’s Stargazer Lawn, this one-night-only camp-out blends fun, community spirit and purpose.

From live music and games to stargazing, shelter-building, and a Welcome to Country, families, friends and teams are encouraged to roll out their swags, share stories, and enjoy a memorable evening.

Alcohol-free food and drinks will be on hand, and the whole event is free to attend – though donations are encouraged to help reach the $1 million fundraising goal for Stepping Stone House.

Since 1989, Stepping Stone House has supported more than 500 young people with safe accommodation, education, employment pathways and life skills. By joining the camp-out, you’ll not only enjoy a unique night under the stars but also shine a light on Sydney’s hidden youth homelessness crisis – helping to create brighter futures for young Australians.
