School Holiday Ice Skating Fun at Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink

Whether your a first timer or a seasoned ice skater, Canterbury Ice Skating Rink is a great place to visit this July school holidays.

For those new to ice skating, they offer school holiday lessons. These are casual lessons Monday - Friday, so no need to book. Check out the school holiday lessons HERE.

If you just want to have a skate with your friends, then join in for a public skating session, where you're free to slide around the ice with a penguin aid or try and out some new tricks - skate at your leisure. Public sessions are available Monday to Sunday at various times.

There are coin-operated lockers to keep your belongings safe, a heated canteen to escape the cold and enjoy a warm drink and a bite to eat. Ample parking in the free public car park makes the trip there even easier.

Oh, and make sure you dress warmly and take gloves, socks, long pants and a jumper. It gets pretty chilly inside the rink.
