School Holiday Farm Experience

These school holidays you're invited to the Green Connect farm for a fun and educational farm tour where you can touch, smell and taste your way through 11-acre farmlands, and meet pigs, chickens and sheep.

Green Connect Farm think that it's important for kids to know where their food comes from and the work that goes into producing it. They are striving to give a friendly, informative, hands-on tour of the farm where they explain the process from seed to plant to vegetable. The kids will be able to touch, smell and taste their way through their 11 acre farmlands, and the opportunity to meet the pigs, chickens and sheep.

The Green Connect farm has been operating for almost five years now and they are proud to say that they have transformed an urban piece of overgrown and forgotten wasteland into a luscious, thriving permaculture farm, just behind Warrawong High School. On the farm experience, children from the age of 3 years and up  are invited (accompanied by a parent or carer) for a 1 hour tour including a taste of something from the farm and a planted seed to grow at home.
