Hold onto your hats, Sydney-siders, culture enthusiasts, and food lovers - the Greek Festival of Sydney is making its grand return to Darling Harbour, and it's promising to be an all-out extravaganza. Celebrating its 20th year, the festival is set to transform the weekend of February 24 and 25 into a lively celebration of Greek-Australian culture, complete with music, dance, food, and fun for all ages.

A Feast for the Senses

Greek Food
Greek Food.

Prepare yourself for a sensory overload of the most delightful kind. The festival will kick off with the enchanting sounds of Melina Aslanidou, setting the stage for a weekend filled with cultural immersion. Stroll through the myriad of pop-up stalls, where handcrafted gems await discovery, offering everything from traditional jewellery to bespoke homewares.

And for the kiddos? They're in for a treat with face painting, craft workshops, and more, ensuring that the next generation gets a full taste of Greek festivities.

Culinary Delights and Cultural Beats

But what's a Greek festival without a feast to remember? Dive into heaping plates of loukoumades, those honey-soaked doughnut delights, or tear into lamb souvlaki that's as tender as it is flavorful, all while sipping on icy Mythos beers.

The real heart-stopper, though, is the lineup of traditional dance performances and workshops scheduled across the weekend. From the Aristotelion Academy of Greek Traditional Dancers to the Cretan Association of Sydney & NSW Dance Group, each performance promises to be a spectacle of grace and history.
