Nights at The Australian Museum

The Australian Museum is opening its doors to the whole family on Thursday nights until the end of June 2022. You'll be able to explore all the wonderful exhibits, join museum tours, explore the fabulous Prehistoric Playground, much down at the cafe, and plenty more!

Nights at The Australian Museum Lineup 

Nights at the Australian Museum has a stellar lineup in 2022, including:

• Music by some of Sydney's best DJs
• Kids and big kids can get creative in Prehistoric Playground play space
• Become a Member and discover more of the AM on a Meet the New Museum tour
• Delve into the collection on a 15-minute 3 Objects gallery spotlight tour where you'll learn the stories behind three key specimens.
• Thursday 31 March: Legendary film composer John Williams will be celebrated as the Sydney Youth Orchestra performing iconic scores from his classic films including Jurassic Park, Jaws and Indiana Jones. The perfect companion soundtrack to accompany the iconic Jurassic World gates featured in Hintze Hall as the entry to the new Jurassic World by Brickman® exhibition!
• Thursday 7 April: Rufino and the Coconuts come to Nights at the Museum
• Thursday 14 April: DINO RAVE
• Thursday 28 April: Brickman Up Late series where LEGO®-focused fun is merged with music, food and a pop-up bar. You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Ryan “The Brickman” McNaught himself!

Special Exhibition: Kmart Presents Jurassic World by Brickman

For a limited time, the hugely popular Jurassic World by Brickman will be on display after the sun sets! As part of Nights at the Museum, Kmart Presents Jurassic World by Brickman offers LEGO® fanatics an after-dark opportunity to experience over 50 large-scale dinosaurs, props, scenes, and activities from over six million LEGO® bricks!
