Indigenous artists from around Australia will come together in Sydney for the sixth National Indigenous Art Fair - a two-day family-friendly ethical art market and festival with a diverse program of events - at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, nestled right in the heart of The Rocks on Gadigal country.
This year, 30 remote Community Art Centres and their artists are attending the fair - the largest number of Art Centres since the Fair's inception.
National Indigenous Art Fair

Now in its sixth year, Sydney's ultimate cultural extravaganza will come alive with vibrant colours, mesmerising music, and incredible artistry at the National Indigenous Art Fair!
Hosted by the wonderful folks at First Hand Solutions Aboriginal Corporation, the festival offers a unique opportunity to meet the artists and experience Indigenous culture first-hand. Buy artworks directly from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from the Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
This iconic annual event showcases the latest award-winning ideas and innovations from Indigenous artists, designers and makers from remote community-owned art centres around the country, with each community bringing their particular range of unique handcrafted and limited-edition items produced using locally sourced materials, natural fibres, dyes and the distinctive style of their region.
From stunning original artworks to design objects, fashion, jewellery, homewares, and native dyed and hand-printed textiles, these artisans work closely with the resources found in their own environment. This year, the fair will launch an exciting new Indigenous fashion runway show, highlighting new collection pieces that can be purchased at the Art Fair.
In the spirit of 2025’s NAIDOC Week theme, The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy, NIAF will feature a vibrant program of live music and dance performances, plus an interactive weaving circle, children’s workshops and Indigenous bush food and plants to try.
From art enthusiasts to little explorers, the National Indigenous Art Fair promises an unforgettable experience for all ages. Everyone’s welcome to look, listen, learn, and join in. Plus, every purchase you make directly supports the talented artists and their communities.
