Indigenous artists from around Australia will come together in Sydney for the National Indigenous Art Fair – a two-day family-friendly art market and program of events at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, nestled right in the heart of The Rocks on Gadigal country.

Now in its fifth year, Sydney's ultimate cultural extravaganza will come alive with vibrant colours, mesmerising music, and incredible artistry at the National Indigenous Art Fair!

Hosted by the wonderful folks at First Hand Solutions Aboriginal Corporation, the festival offers a unique opportunity to meet the artists and experience Indigenous culture first-hand. Buy artworks directly from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from remote community-owned art centres from the Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, from breathtaking paintings to stunning jewellery.

Plus, you can even grab a taste of Indigenous bush food and plants and feel the rhythm with live Indigenous music and dance performances!

This year, the National Indigenous Art Fair is introducing "The Living Room" - a special showcase of Indigenous-designed furniture, textiles, and homewares, curated by the talented Miah Madden. Don't miss your chance to bring a piece of Indigenous artistry into your own home. 

National Indigenous Art Fair Workshops

Join free communal weaving circles and Torres Strait Islander dance classes, or pre-book a hands-on Ochre painting or Lamp Shade Making workshop.

Little ones can join the fun with interactive workshops designed just for them. They'll have a blast crafting their very own possum armband with Indigenous artist and storyteller Amanda Reynolds or diving into a weaving workshop with the incredible Regina Wilson, a master fibre weaver from Durrmu Arts in Peppimenarti. There is also a free sand painting activity for kids!
