Musical Island: A Silent Spell

Can you imagine a world without music? Musical Island: A Silent Spell, is a musical for children and adults as part of this year Fringe Festival in children programming.   

Show Dates: 

• Sunday 23 September at 2pm and 6pm,  Bondi Pavilion ( Queen Elizabeth Dr, Bondi Beach)
• Wednesday 26 September, Thursday 27 September & Friday 28 September at 7 pm, Theatre 107, 107 Redfern St, Redfern

The all-singing, all-dancing inhabitants of Musical Island are forced to contend with this reality, as the tragically misunderstood Queen of Silence hatches a plan to prevent the lyrical larrikin Prince Major from writing any more of his meddling merry melodies!

It falls to Princess Minor and her ragtag rabble of musical mates, Flatty, Sharpy, the bandits and gypsies to find a magic tune to rescue Prince Major, and save the Musical Island from a sinister silence.

Natalie Mitzikis’ original characters are derived from fundamental concepts in music, and will educate as well as entertain in a battle of wits and wonderful music, including Natalie’s original songs. Families and children of all ages will love this fresh and funny fairytale.

This story is about the music in our hearts, and all can play a part. Come along on a journey to Musical Island, where everyone is musical!
