Moon Festival at Darling Square
The Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, is one of the most cherished celebrations across Asia. Traditionally, a time to give thanks for the harvest, today it’s all about gathering with loved ones, admiring the full moon, and sharing mooncakes.
Foodies won’t want to miss the limited-edition treats and menus on offer, including:
-
XOPP by Golden Century’s handcrafted modern mooncakes with indulgent fillings.
-
15cenchi’s Salted Egg Mochi Moon Cheesecake, back by popular demand.
-
Lilong by Taste of Shanghai’s exclusive puff pastry mooncakes in sweet and savoury flavours.
-
Gelato Messina’s festival flavour, Over the Moon, features red dates, caramel, lava custard and mooncake crumbs.
-
Hello Auntie’s curated banquet menus for sharing.
-
789 KBBQ’s complimentary chicken thighs with a spend of $150 or more.
-
Auvers Dining’s seafood tower special and kids-eat-free Sundays.
Adding to the magic, hundreds of lanterns will illuminate Darling Square each night.
Lion dancing will light up the square on Saturdays 27 September, 4 and 11 October at 6:30 pm, while live music will set the mood every Saturday and Sunday evening. Kids can get hands-on with mooncake clay-making, lantern painting, and scavenger hunts throughout the festival.
With its glowing atmosphere, cultural traditions, and incredible food, Moon Festival at Darling Square is a celebration not to be missed.
