Join Melanoma March 2018 in Emu Plains on Sunday 11 March and walk to support melanoma research.
Australia’s national cancer needs a cure and Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA) is ready to find it - but your help is needed. Join Melanoma March to help raise awareness and funds for a cure.
This fun community march along will unite families who have been touched by this disease. There will be stalls serving coffee, savoury and sweet dishes, live entertainment and face painting. The event is dog-friendly, so please feel free to bring along your furry friends.
“Melanoma continues to be the most common cancer affecting 15 to 39 year olds and kills more young Australians aged 20-39 than any other cancer,” said MIA CEO, Carole Renouf. “This is why we are marching for a cure. These events are part of a nation-wide campaign that is expected to see thousands of Australians marching for a cure.
Where: Regatta Park, Emu Plains
When: Saturday 11 March. Registration opens at 8am with the March commencing at 9am sharp. Event closes at 11am
Cost: $15 for Kids and $30 for Adults. Kids under 5 are free.
