Melanoma March in Manly

  • Sun Mar 18 2018
  • From: $15.00

Join Melanoma March 2018 in Manly on Saturday 18 March to support melanoma research.

Australia’s national cancer needs a cure and Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA) is ready to find it - but your help is needed.

Join Melanoma March to help raise awareness and funds for a cure. This fun community march along the beautiful Manly to Fairlight track will unite families who have been touched by this disease.

“Melanoma continues to be the most common cancer affecting 15 to 39 year olds and kills more young Australians aged 20-39 than any other cancer,” said MIA CEO, Carole Renouf. “This is why we are marching for a cure. But we can’t do it alone.”

In addition to the 4km march in Manly, you also have the option to participate in a stand-up paddle event lead by fitness guru and Melanoma March Ambassador, Shannan Ponton. These events are part of a nation-wide campaign that is expected to see thousands of Australians marching for a cure.

Where:  West Esplanade (opp Rowe Street), Manly Cove
When:   Saturday 18 March. Registration opens at 7:30am, with the March commencing at 9am sharp. Event closes at 11am.
Cost:     $15 for Kids and $30 for Adults. Kids under 5 are free.
