Lunar New Year 2021 In Parramatta

To celebrate the Year of the Ox, Parramatta is bringing you lighting installations, special offers at Asian restaurants, food markets at Sydney Olympic Park and a competition to win $100 AT Parramatta gift card.

The Lunar New Year festival is usually one of the major events in Parramatta, bringing people from all over Sydney for food markets and entertainment. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the City of Parramatta can't present the usual Lunar New Year's celebrations. This year, they are illuminating Centenary Square between 12-26 February with a beautiful walk-through lighting installation. After that, you can visit one of the many Asian eateries in Parramatta and dine at one of the local gems for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
