A wonderful accompaniment to the Star Wars™ Identities: The Exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum, budding Star Wars engineers will adore this one-day workshop! Using the power of littleBits—a system of components that snap together to easily create hardware—kids are challenged with inventing, building and prototyping their very own droid robot (a bit like R2D2!).

Children will learn all about Artificial Intelligence and what being a robot is all about, all while constructing circuits and creating prototypes of models an dioramas with lights, switches and buzzers. Learners can also use littleBits to create new space-related technologies, such as satellite dishes, spaceships and mini planetarium star charts.

Ticket options can include lunch, and the 6-hour workshop will ignite their spark for all things engineering and space related!
