La Perouse Public School 150th Anniversary Celebration

La Perouse Public School will be celebrating its 150th anniversary this November in an event for the whole community at Yarra Road, Phillip Bay.
The event will feature live entertainment including performances by Tiptoe Giants, Soulganic, Gondwana Choirs and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. La Perouse’s famous Snake Show will pop in to showcase some of Australia’s most venomous snakes.
There will also be market stalls and a variety of food stalls and trucks including, Turkish Gozleme, Greek Souvlaki and mouth-watering burgers. Botany’s famous Brasserie Bread will be there selling their delectable breads and cakes.
Kids of all ages can enjoy the giant jumping castle, inflatable obstacle course, flying chairs, pony rides, craft activities, face painting and hair braiding. The Soccajoeys will also be stopping by to train budding players. Anyone can play the giant chocolate wheel for a chance to win some great prizes.
On the day we will be laying a time capsule, and visitors will be invited to interact with the 'History Hall' which explores and gathers 150 years of school history and a shared vision for our exciting future.
This huge celebration is not to be missed - especially as we will be attempting to break a new and exciting world record!
