Join Vaucluse Amateur 12ft Sailing Club Summer School Holiday programs this summer, delivering first-class sailing experiences through a welcoming family environment.

Vaucluse Amateur 12ft Sailing Club have been teaching kids how to sail, hosting fleet racing and nurturing champions since 1939.

About the Scool Holiday Sailing Program

Vaucluse Amateur 12ft Sailing Club runs kids learn to sail holiday camps every school holiday. 

Drop your children off at the clubhouse at 9 am and collect them at 3:30 pm.

Camps vary in length from three to five days. The club has curated the syllabus based on the kids' experience participating in each camp. The programs are for children aged 7-16yrs. 

If you are not a club member, you will be given temporary membership for the duration of the camp.

 

Vaucluse Amateur 12ft Sailing Club deliver first class sailing experiences through a welcoming family environment.

 

Pre-requisites

Each child must be able to swim and tread water.

What to Bring

  • Life jacket (PFD)
  • Wetsuit, or sailing pants and top
  • Swimmers
  • Thermals (standard from any outdoor shop) are highly recommended
  • Spray jacket or sailing smock
  • Sunscreen and hat
  • Old shoes or wetsuit boots for sailing
  • Towel and swimmers
  • Packed lunch and drink (including snacks)
  • Change of warm clothes and towel for after sailing

Dates

  • 5th Dec - 9th Dec 2022 (choose 5, 4 or 3-day camp)
  • 12th Dec - 16th Dec 2022 (choose 5, 4 or 3-day camp)
  • 19th Dec - 23rd Dec 2022 (choose 5, 4 or 3-day camp)
  • 4th Jan - 6th Jan 2023 (3-day camp)
  • 9th Jan - 13th Jan 2023 (choose 5, 4 or 3-day camp)
  • 16th Jan - 20th Jan 2023 (choose 5, 4 or 3-day camp)
  • 23rd Jan - 25th Jan 2023 (3-day camp)

If camps are marked as SOLD OUT, please email to join the waitlist, specifying dates and the number of kids.

 

Participants can choose to attend either 5, 4 or 3 days of each camp.

 

Course Fees

Participants can choose to attend either 5, 4 or 3 days of each camp.

  • 5-day camp - $715
  • 4 day camp - $565
  • 3 day camp - $465

Cancellations & Refunds

Courses will run rain, hail, or shine. If the weather is not suitable for sailing, then onshore activities will be arranged in the clubhouse or Kutti Beach.

As we have to commit to coaches, we cannot offer any refunds for cancellations, partial or otherwise, from 7 days before course commencement.

Active Kids Vouchers

VA12SC is a registered provider of the Active Kids Program, and you can redeem your $100 voucher to put towards your child's coaching. More information available here.
