House Canteen: Sydney Opera House❜s New Kid-Friendly Harbourside Dining Destination

House Canteen, located along the waterfront beneath the Opera House sails, is the perfect spot to enjoy a casual and kid-friendly breakfast, lunch, or dinner while taking in the showstopping views of Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Kid-Friendly Dining at House Canteen
House Canteen bakery and barista are serving from 7.30 am, with freshly baked pastries, bacon and egg rolls, delicious Bad Boy Bakehouse doughnuts, and coffee available for dine-in or grab-and-go.
From lunch through to late, enjoy pan-Asian favourites like dumplings, pork buns, sashimi, poke bowls, karaage chicken burger and more. The kids' menu includes spring rolls, a mixed sushi plate, and chicken katsu with chips, of course.
There are plenty of tables in the shade, and the kids can keep entertained with the incredible views of Sydney Harbour, the passing ferries, and the city skyline.
House Canteen is open from 7.30 am until late. Walk-ins are always welcome. Plenty of ramp access for prams too.
New Year’s Eve on Sydney Harbour

This New Year’s Eve, the theme is Tokyo Nights - keep the kids entertained with live entertainment, retro arcade games, and Tokyo-inspired street food. There’s also a range of delicious speciality cocktails for the grown-ups and much more!
