Heritage Train Rides At NSW Rail Museum

The trains are once again rolling in and out of the historic NSW Rail Museum, making it the perfect spot to spend a day exploring with the kids.

It's hard to find a kid who doesn't love trains, so we know it's going to be hard for them to resist a summer spent at the NSW Rail Museum. Along with heritage train rides running on weekends, Sydney's NSW Rail Museum in Thirlmere is the place for kids to explore, discover and enjoy some toot-tooting fun!

Heritage Train Rides at NSW Rail Museum

The heritage train rides at NSW Rail Museum are on offer from 2 March 2024 on Saturdays and Sundays. Bring the kids along for a 40-minute ride behind a vintage diesel locomotive. The heritage train rides run from Thirlmere Station to Buxton and back roughly every 45 minutes on the weekends at 10 am, 11.15 am, 12.30 pm, and 2 pm.
