Henry Blooms Moon Festival Family Fun Day
- Fri Sep 21 - Sun Sep 23 2018
The inaugural Henry Blooms Moon Festival Family Fun Day is set to delight Sydney with its unique celebration of Chinese culture and full moon festivities.
Taking place in Burwood Park, over the weekend of the 22 to 23 September, the festival will celebrate Burwood’s sister city partnership with Tienjing, Tiangin City, District of Hepin, China.
This family friendly event seeks to celebrate the values of Family, Harmony, and Reunion, bringing this important event in Chinese culture to the wider Australian community. The festival will be benefiting Learning Links, a charitable not for profit organisation established by parents to aid students with learning difficulties.
Activities all ages are bound to enjoy include lantern making, DIY paper cutting, or visiting stalls where they can buy mooncakes and other traditional delicacies. The characters from Paw Patrol will be there, alongside other entertainment including magic shows, a petting zoo, and even the healing art of goat yoga.
