Go On A Behind The Scenes Tour At Sydney Fish Market

We can’t promise you won’t have to get up at the crack of dawn, but we can promise it will be worth it.

You might have frequented Sydney Fish Markets before when you were looking for the freshest of catches, however, we’re willing to bet you probably haven’t done an actual tour of the joint before. Well, now you can! 

Departing almost daily at 6.40am and lasting between 90 minutes and two hours, these tours are the perfect way to gain insight into the history of Sydney Fish Market, take a tour of the auction floor, viewing over 100 species of fish, learn some information about sashimi and witness a spot of oyster shucking. 

Held every weekday apart from public holidays and between Christmas and New Year, these tours are suitable for kids aged 10 and over and are a great way to engage them on where their food is coming from!
