The Blackmores Sydney Running Festival is back on 15 September - so there’s still some time left for you to practice on the treadmill or the stairs to finish the run Usain Bolt-style!
The Blackmores Sydney Running Festival started in 2001 as a legacy of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. It is run on one of the most spectacular courses in the world, taking in all of Sydney's iconic landmarks and providing all runners with a unique opportunity of crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge traffic-free!
Whether you're planning on walking or running, join the other 33,000 happy runners to enjoy a fun day out with the family and friends. All for a good cause, of course! Since 2001, the event has helped to raise nearly $2million for various charitable organisations!
The running event is divided into smaller segments for people of all abilities: Full Marathon (42 km), Half Marathon (21 km), Bridge Run (10 km) and finally – the Family Fun Run (3,5 km).
So… fetch your water bottle, tie your shoelaces tight and run!
When: Sunday 15 September 2019, Family Fun Run starts at 9 am
Where: Start at Bradfield Park, Milsons Point to finish at the Conservatorium of Music.
Cost: Children under 5: FREE, Kids 5-17: $26,5, Adults: 41,5 (early bird prices)
