Flutter at Gateway: An Immersive Butterfly Experience at Vivid Sydney 2023

Get ready for a mesmerising experience this Vivid Sydney festival as Gateway Sydney, the iconic dining precinct in Circular Quay, is set to morph into an enchanting butterfly wonderland from 26 May to 17 June 2023. Teaming up with the acclaimed design studio Skunk Control, Gateway Sydney is curating a unique experience for families and visitors alike, perfect for the budding naturalist in your brood.

Prepare to be dazzled by over 600 butterflies dispersed throughout the installations and captivated by an interactive colour transformation spectacle, 'The Kaleidoscope'. Peer through a rotating portal to reveal a vibrant, colourful butterfly scene, an incredible exploration of the science of colour and light. The use of optical filters in the Kaleidoscope changes the natural light, creating a real-time colour metamorphosis that your little ones will adore.
